The Schauer Arts Center (SAC) is a vibrant, non-profit cultural hub that brings creativity, artistic expression, and educational opportunities to the community. Home to dynamic performances, community events and a thriving School of the Arts, SAC serves as a cornerstone for cultural enrichment.

Position Overview:

SAC is seeking an innovative and strategic Executive Director to lead its vital and dynamic non-profit arts organization. The Executive Director will oversee all facets of SAC’s operations, including its performance venues, event spaces, and the community-focused School of the Arts. This position requires a leader with a passion for the arts, an ability to manage and grow programs, and a strong commitment to the SAC’s mission of fostering creativity, artistic expression, and accessibility to the arts. The ideal candidate will bring vision, expertise in arts management, and the ability to build strong relationships with artists, educators, donors, and patrons.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in arts management, nonprofit leadership, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing a performing arts venue, cultural organization, or nonprofit entity.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to adapt to new opportunities while maintaining financial sustainability.
  • Experience in arts programming, event management, and education.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen in budgeting, fundraising, and revenue generation.
  • Exceptional communication and community engagement skills.
  • Experience in staff management and development, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
  • Passion for the arts and a commitment to fostering community engagement through cultural programming.

Salary: $90,000-$120,000
