Location: Greater Milwaukee Area (Serving Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee & Washington Counties)

Position Overview
As a Family Coach Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our Safe Families program. You will oversee, train, and support volunteer Family Coaches, ensuring that hosting experiences run smoothly and safely. Additionally, you will foster strong partnerships with referral agencies, churches, and community organizations. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to supporting families in need.
Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight & Volunteer Support
✅ Community Connector – Build and maintain relationships with churches, service providers, and community organizations to increase awareness and recruit volunteers.
✅ Volunteer Guide – Match, supervise and support Volunteers, equipping them to provide meaningful, effective assistance.
✅ Goal-Oriented Support – Assist families in setting and achieving goals that promote long-term stability.
✅ Compliance & Documentation – Conduct home studies, clinical interviews, and all necessary program documentation to ensure safety and compliance.
✅ Training & Development – Attend all staff meetings at the state & local level. Lead training sessions for volunteers, ensuring they are well-prepared to support families.
✅ Urgency Response – Provide on-call support on a rotating basis to address urgent needs and ensure smooth hosting experiences.
✅ Safe Families Advocate – Participate in community events, fundraisers, and networking opportunities to advance the Safe Families mission.
Qualifications & Experience
✔ Education & Experience – A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Ministry, Nursing, or a related field. Experience working with at-risk children and families is highly desirable.
✔ Strong Interpersonal Skills – Ability to effectively engage with volunteers, families, and community partners while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
✔ Independent & Adaptable – Able to manage schedules, prioritize responsibilities, and adjust to evolving needs. Google Suite experience a bonus.
✔ Mission-Driven – A passion for keeping families together and ensuring children have safe, supportive environments.
✔ Reliable Transportation – Must have access to a vehicle, insurance and be willing to transport children when needed. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for any transportation-related duties.
✔ Schedule Flexibility – Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
✔ Cleared background checks, including criminal history.
Preferred Qualifications
🌟 Experience working with faith-based communities and mobilizing volunteers.
🌟 Strong public speaking skills, with experience presenting in community, faith-based, or child welfare settings.
🌟 Previous supervisory experience, particularly in volunteer management or social services.
🌟 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple priorities.
