The Facilities & IT Manager is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all organizational technology systems and infrastructure, serving as the primary point of contact for IT and telecommunications support. This role manages the organization’s hardware, software, and network systems, working with external vendors as needed to ensure reliable and secure technology operations. In addition, the Facilities & IT Manager oversees the maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds, supporting day-to-day operations and facility-related needs, including rental event coordination.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Oversees daily operations, maintenance and upkeep of the building and grounds, including cleaning, lawn care, waste disposal and recycling.
- Evaluates, recommends, and maintains vendor relationships for maintenance and repair, including janitorial services and other service providers.
- Performs basic mechanical and building repairs within skills and qualifications.
- Oversees building systems, including security and HVAC.
- Maintains supply inventories and orders supplies within budgetary constraints, as needed.
- Researches and implements new and innovative ways to enhance facility maintenance in a more cost-effective and environmentally friendly manner.
- Develops, coordinates, and documents preventative maintenance programs, and maintains all related documentation and records.
- Assesses and reports major or emergency repair or replacement needs.
- Leads and manages all major improvement, repair or maintenance projects.
- Maintains and ensures compliance with policies for operations and facilities.
- Manages and coordinates rental events, including communications with lessees and room setup and take-down.
- Represents the organization at rental events, unless otherwise directed.
- Oversees compliance with policies for facility use and rentals, ensuring positive relations with the facility lessees.
- Oversees the security, maintenance and recordkeeping for all organization technology and equipment inventory, including computers, furniture, and tools.
- Serves as first point of contact for employees on all IT and phone-related issues, trouble- shooting and resolving issues within skills and qualifications.
- Researches and seeks qualified outside IT and phone vendors, consultants and engineering contractors, as necessary, and serves as primary contact on behalf of the organization.

- Skills in administration, budgeting, expense control, and purchasing.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Accurate data-entry skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including frequent evenings or weekends.
Education & Experience
- High school or equivalency degree, plus at least five years of experience in facilities maintenance and business technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Project management or general contractor experience.
- Experience or training in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tools and equipment strongly preferred.
