The Data Entry/Office Assistant fulfills a multi-faceted role within our Administrative Assistant team, primarily participating in data entry duties within our Jail Operations division. This role will require a detail-oriented and organized individual with an ability to understand and input data. Duties will include entering data into our Milwaukee County Pretrial Services electronic database system; reviewing data and checking for quality assurance; familiarity with Wisconsin Circuit Court Access (CCAP); recording program information into Excel spreadsheets; and supporting Jail Screening staff with duties as needed. It is also important for the individual to become well-versed in the programs and services within JusticePoint.
The Data Entry/Office Assistant will assist in the Jail Operations unit by inputting information directly into the electronic database; ensure quality assurance with data that is recorded; maintaining complete and accurate information with the electronic database; and assist with other clerical duties, as needed.
Competencies:
- Prior clerical and/or data entry experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Organized, attentive to detail, thorough and methodical in completing tasks
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and be self-motivating
- Maintain a professional, respectful demeanor and team-oriented approach with all JusticePoint employees
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalency required; related Associate degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license and automobile with insurance preferred
- Pass a pre-employment background check conducted by the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department

Schedule: 18-20 hours per week (Part-time); Monday-Friday (daytime/1st shift hours). Flexibility in set schedule, to be established upon hire.
