Under the general guidance and direction of the Executive Director and in accordance with the Christian nature and purpose of HeartLove Place, the Program Coordinator shall serve as a key professional staff team member in the delivery of services and programs for youth and families. Develop, manage and implement programs and/or services that will address community needs, empower families and deliver the mission of HLP. Program Coordinator may work some evenings and weekend hours as needed.

Compensation: $40,000-$48,500
Benefits: Paid holidays, vacation and sick personal time. Health Care Allowance available.
Qualifications
- A 4 year degree preferred in community services, social work or nonprofit programming or equivalent work experience of 3 years or more in the field.
- Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a valid Wisconsin state Driver’s License
- Competent in Microsoft Office, Excel, Quickbooks etc.
Main Job Duties
- Coordinate educational and recreational opportunities for youth & families.
- Hire, train, supervise and evaluate staff and/or volunteers.
- Develop, monitor and manage department/program budgets.
- Conduct quarterly community events with strong family focus. (example: Family Fun Night Events)
- Provide information, identification and assessment of community needs with creative implementation of programming with Christian focus.
- Develop, implement and evaluate programs and services that result in positive outcomes that are measurable.
- Responsible for all related paperwork, record keeping, coordination of program and compliance with state mandated reporting of child abuse/neglect.
- Establish goal oriented “case management” services.
- Maintain accurate records (attendance, evaluations, registration, meals etc…) and ensure all required paperwork is completed and turn in as required.
- Serve as community Liaison between HLP and the Harambee community, establishing positive collaborative and community partnerships to include but not limited to area churches, schools, other CBOs etc.
- Meet the needs of the community via HLP resources or access to other resources in the community.
