This position is a great opportunity for teachers looking to work in a non-traditional program setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Career Readiness Coaching: Equip students with essential workforce skills. You’ll support them in resume writing, interview preparation, networking, and workplace etiquette.
  • Project-Based Learning: Benefit from strong training and support to implement project-based learning, creating hands-on activities that foster real-world problem-solving skills.
  • Goal Achievement Mentorship: Inspire and mentor students as they set and achieve their personal, educational, and career goals. Help them dream big and provide the structure to make those dreams a reality.
  • Community Partnerships: Establish relationships with local businesses, organizations, and colleges to create career opportunities for students, including job shadowing and internships.
  • Student Advocacy: Act as a champion for your students, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to navigate challenges both in and out of the classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with experience working with high school students.
  • Valid Wisconsin Teaching License or be willing to work towards licensure.
  • Ability to develop curriculum and educational opportunities.
  • Capability to inspire and instill hope in high school students while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
  • Be able to successfully pass criminal background check.
  • Maintain active driver license and insurability.
