The Restock Specialist is responsible for assisting client shoppers and providing a high-quality shopping experience. The primary purpose of this position is to thoroughly stock the main shopping area and to tidy shelves and racks as they are emptied. The Restock Specialist will move through the shopping area as clients shop and go back and forth between the front room and the back warehouse.

Compensation: This will be a part-time (20 hours per week), non-exempt position, paid an hourly wage of $18. Other benefits include 8 paid holidays.
Shift Hours: Restocking occurs on week days (Monday through Thursday in the afternoons from 11 am – 4 pm) and on most first Saturdays in the afternoons (11 am – 4 pm).
Key Responsibilities
- Verify that the main shopping areas are thoroughly stocked and tidy after closing.
- Assist clients as needed and as available to do so in finding specific items to meet their needs/wants, within reason, given the selection available.
- Collect empty hangers that may be left on the racks.
- Restock overflow (“put back”) items from the checkout area
- Restock shelves and racks as items are taken and after closing.
- Assist in the display of merchandise
- Organize store front
- Rotate stock seasonally
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Commitment to serving those in need, nonprofit experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail, skilled in task prioritization and completion
- Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- 1-2 years of customer service, retail, or sales
- High school diploma or equivalent
