Position Summary:
Eras Senior Network seeks an experienced Sr. Outreach & Events Manager to expand community donor support and drive fundraising efforts. This is a unique opportunity to work in a creative environment and contribute to advancing healthy aging in Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties.
In this role, you will develop strategies to secure annual, planned giving, and donor-directed gifts while managing and growing fundraising and outreach events, including our flagship Tapestry benefit. You will also cultivate corporate and major gift support, oversee marketing communications, and enhance Eras’ brand visibility.

Responsibilities and Core Functions:
Fundraising & Partnership Building –
- Oversee development team, fundraising strategic plan and successfully deliver upon activities including all agency special fundraising events and community partnerships (working in collaboration with Executive Director and Board to secure corporate donations and sponsorships).
- Manage healthy community partnerships with congregations, corporations, civic groups, and individuals to advance Eras’ mission.
- Support a unified and consistent donor acknowledgement and recognition program.
- Manage the use of fundraising CRM database (NewOrg.) and activities so that all data is timely, accurately, and consistently recorded and acknowledged in accordance with development, IT, finance, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Lead development strategies to successfully grow unrestricted funding support by 10% annually.
Marketing and Communication –
- Work with Board volunteers and Board Committees on fund and partner development and solicitation.
- Serve as staff liaison for the Resource Development Committee.
- Support marketing team in working with staff, Board, and committees to develop creative and compelling marketing materials and activities to enhance the public awareness of the organization, raise funds and recruit volunteers and partners.
- Leads and supports the review and execution process of creating newsletters, developing website/social media/print/video/PR content.
Outreach and Support –
- Maintain a high level of presentation to congregations, community groups, service groups, corporations, and senior centers.
- In partnership with Volunteer Director, support volunteer recruitment efforts in the community.
- Supports Outreach and Agency Ambassador teams with tracking & reporting outreach and recruitment efforts in a timely manner.
- Oversee Agency Ambassador program to help represent the organization in the community.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field and/or 3-5 years related experience.
- Proven and measurable experience in successfully developing and implementing a wide variety of fundraising and marketing programs for nonprofits.
- Budget development and management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience successfully maintaining relationships with diverse groups and individuals.
- Corporate and Major gifts solicitation experience.
