Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated, mission-driven individual to join our team as the Resident Connection Coordinator. This role is critical in ensuring residents remain connected to the resources and support systems they need to succeed. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a relationship-focused mindset, and the ability to navigate communication between residents, staff, and external service providers.

This position supports the organization’s mission by fostering accountability, providing consistent guidance, and contributing to a supportive community where residents can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Resident Engagement and Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents, ensuring they are connected to key resources such as RSC workers, peer support specialists, and other service providers.
  • Maintain consistent communication with residents to guide them in meeting program expectations.
  • Build trust with residents while maintaining professional boundaries, fostering a supportive environment.

Accountability and Progress Tracking

  • Monitor and document residents’ participation in program requirements, including work, treatment, and volunteer activities.
  • Maintain accurate records to track progress and meet reporting needs for individual progress as well as grants and organizational benchmarks.
  • Address issues of accountability constructively, encouraging residents to meet their commitments.

Communication and Coordination

  • Serve as a communication bridge between residents, staff, and external partners to ensure alignment and effective service delivery.
  • Coordinate with service providers to address resident needs and remove barriers to success.
  • Handle communication challenges with patience and clarity, facilitating solutions when conflicts arise.

Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support as needed, including preparing reports and updating documentation to meet program goals.
  • Assist leadership in identifying gaps in service and contributing to process improvements.
  • Ensure program operations flow smoothly by staying proactive and organized in daily responsibilities.

Mission Alignment and Guidance

  • Uphold the organization’s mission, ensuring all actions reflect the values and goals of the program.
  • Guide residents in understanding and fulfilling program requirements, supporting their personal accountability and growth.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the organization by supporting established systems and frameworks rather than redefining them.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, human services, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Previous experience in a service-oriented role, such as community engagement, recovery services, or case coordination.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to track multiple responsibilities and maintain clear, detailed records.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Familiarity with data tracking and reporting systems is a plus.
