Mental Health America of Wisconsin is currently seeking enthusiastic professionally licensed mental health providers to support our partnership with Milwaukee Public Schools. Applicants must be licensed in one of the following professions: LCSW (APSW), LPC (LPC-IT), or LMFT.
Job description: This part-time position will provide school-based therapy to children and teens K-12 through a partnership with Milwaukee Public Schools. Through early intervention, mental health concerns can improve outcomes for students. The school-based model is designed to deliver community-based mental health services to students in need, and provide therapeutic services in the school, in the home, or at the agency as appropriate. Help students and their families access resources faster, reduce the stigma of mental health services, and improve communication between the school staff and the community mental health providers to increase student success.

What We Need:
- Licensed Therapists or Therapists in training who specialize in working with Children and Adolescents (ages 6 to 18 years of age).
- Self-guided determination to complete your notes within 24 hours
- Strong professional characteristics – integrity, adaptability, honesty, and quality of care
- Individuals who enjoy being a part of a team
- Innovative individuals who can think on their feet and develop youth and family programming as needed
- Individuals who are looking to develop their clinical and professional skills
- Someone who is understands the importance of developing and maintaining community partnerships
Requirements:
- Availability from 8 am-4 pm 3 days per week
- Available for occasional evening and weekend hours to meet with parent groups and attend school functions/activities that fall outside of the school day
- Weekly supervision and consultation with supervisor and peers
