Responsibilities:

As the Executive Director, you will:

• Provide strategic leadership and implement policies, programs, and public relations initiatives.
• Partner with the Board of Directors to develop organizational and financial plans.
• Oversee fundraising, donor cultivation, and financial management to ensure sustainability.
• Build and maintain relationships with community groups, stakeholders, and local leaders.
• Advocate for families, children, and childcare providers in legislative and community settings.
• Lead the recruitment, development, and retention of a skilled and collaborative team.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and funding requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, business, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 7+ years of nonprofit leadership experience, with a strong record of success in fundraising and donor relations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and inspire collaboration.
• Proven expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and program development.
• Experience building partnerships and advocating for community-focused initiatives.
• Knowledge of human resource policies, nonprofit governance, and compliance requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of adequate car insurance.
