The State of Wisconsin, Department of Military Affairs (DMA) is hiring a Program Instructor (Staff Development Program Specialist). This position is located at STARBASE Wisconsin, which is at the US Army Recruiting Station on Silver Spring Drive, Milwaukee, WI.

The STARBASE Wisconsin Training Program is an educational outreach program for 5th grade students designed to inspire and increase the knowledge, interests and skills of at-risk and underrepresented youth.  The program areas covered in the instruction are Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).  The curriculum is inquiry-based with “hands-on”, experiential activities in a high-tech, fast paced environment.  Some of the exciting activities include: model rocketry, robotics, building molecular models, electrical circuits, engineering design, computer aided design, and STEM career exploration.
