Milwaukee Jewish Day School is a private Jewish 3K-8 school where academic excellence and Jewish values prepare children for a lifetime of success, leadership and engagement with the world. The Development Operations Coordinator will efficiently and accurately maintain the donor database for MJDS while providing excellent customer service to our many supporters. The position requires a balance of skills including excellent interpersonal communication, exceptional attention to detail and strong organization. The Coordinator will report to the Director of Philanthropy and work closely with the Finance/Development team.

Core Areas of Focus

  • Gift acknowledgements and processing
  • Database ownership, maintenance, management, reporting, improvement, and reconciling
  • Research, write, track, and report grants
  • General support of and partnership with the Finance and Development departments
  • Project management: lead, facilitate timeline, and coordinate stakeholders
  • Events: actively support and participate alongside the Director of Philanthropy
  • Data driven storytelling, analysis, and segmentation
