2019 Causier Memorial Lecture: Racial Equity and Economic Justice in Urban Planning Practice and Community Building

October 22nd in Milwaukee: john a. powell, director of the Haas Institute for a Fair and Inclusive Society, speaks on “Racial Equity and Economic Justice in Urban Planning Practice and Community Building.” He holds the Robert D. Haas Chancellor’s Chair in Equity and Inclusion and is a professor of law and professor of African American Studies and Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.

The 2019 Charles Causier Memorial Lecture is presented by the UWM Department of Urban Planning and Office of Global Inclusion & Engagement. This lecture will be followed by a reception in the Marcus Commons in the AUP building. Both events are free and open to the public. See here for details.
